Since 1994, Piney Ridge has been an important musical platform for the audio, video and print music of internationally acclaimed guitarist El McMeen.
El, however, is excited about the music of other talented guitarists, and has been devoting great efforts on their behalf!

The Guitarist Presentation Series! The Guitarist Presentation Series showcases the talents of guitarists whose repertoire and deep musicality are consistent with the prior contributions of the label to the field of acoustic guitar. Inaugurating the Series is an evocative new CD, called "Giving Voice" This recording features Guitarists Tim Alexander and Sandy Shalk "I had worked with these sensitive and talented musicians over many years," McMeen explained, "and we feel fortunate to have them on our label. We are delighted to take the historic step of expanding the offering of acoustic music through our label to include these fine gentlemen and players. Their music ranges from evocative original and traditional pieces, to standards like 'Moon River', to uptempo jigs and blues tunes. It was a privilege for me to produce this CD."
